Aureum Opus regium privilegiorum civitatis et regni Valentie cum historia cristianissimi Regis Jacobi opsius, 1515. Valencia.

Early work printed partially in Valencian, one of the most beautiful books printed in the city

First edition, one of the finest early illustrated Spanish printings, partially printed in the Valencian language, containing the first printed text of the famous Catalan chronicle of King Jaume I (11218 – 1276), the part referring to the conquest of Valencia. The work then contains a list of royal and legal privileges written by the notary Luis de Alaya, who also borne the cost of printing; it is of considerable historical interest. “Ouvrage de la plus grande rarete” (Heredia).
